Personal Statement and RMA Days
RMA

Are you planning on applying to medical school in the 2021-2022 Application cycle? If so, Jabari Robinson will be holding personal statement & RMA critiques on these following dates:

Friday, April 30th
Tuesday, May 4th
Tuesday, May 18th
Thursday, May 20th

These will 30 minute sessions that you can sign up for via SAGE. These appointments are labeled as Personal Statement/RMA Day. You can sign up for only one critique to allow room for as many students as possible to get their application documents critiqued. After you sign up, you will receive an email with instructions for the meeting. This will be for reviewing your personal statement or RMA only. If you have general application questions, please set up a regular appointment with Jabari Robinson.

We have a variety of mentors attending medical schools across the country that can give valuable insights on applying, interviewing, and more. We're also happy to help with essay edits and brainstorming, provide mock interviews, and/or help out in any way we can.

Pre-Professional Student Ambassador Program
PPSA

The Pre-Professional Advising Office is looking for high achieving UGA undergraduate students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year that are pursuing professional programs to be a Pre-Professional Student Ambassador.

Pre-Professional Student Ambassadors (PPSA) will work directly with the Pre-Professional Advising Office to build an inclusive community for pre-health and pre-law students at UGA. The role of a PPSA is to connect students to campus resources, provide peer support, professional development opportunities, and guidance. Additionally, they will promote the Pre-Professional Advising Office across campus and work with campus partners for collaboration and outreach.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Pre-Professional Advising Office will be conducting all Summer 2021 appointments, walk-ins, and events virtually via Zoom.

A minimum of 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, your advisor will email you with the Zoom link.  If you are unable to use Zoom for an advising appointment, please email your advisor so that you can work out an accommodation.  Please review UGA’s Advising at a Distance page for more information.
