Congratulations to our very own Lise Kalla, recipient of the 2024-2025 Excellence in Advising Special Populations Award. Since joining the Pre-Professional Advising Office in 2021, Lise has supported pre-dentistry and pre-optometry students. She helped create a semester-long certificate program with the Lamar Dodd School of Art, enhancing pre-dental students’ hand-building skills through ceramics, printmaking, and jewelry metalwork. Lise also led a collaboration with advisors from eight Georgia universities to bring top-tier dental school presentations and co-leads the Pre-Professional Ambassador program, connecting students with peer support. We are grateful for her significant impact on our Pre-Professional students!
